Okachihuali es una red neuronal capaz de sintetizar una nueva constelación de música 3ball
Okachihuali es simultáneamente una tecnología que exterioriza la memoria del 3ball y es capaz de sintetizar nuevos tracks para el club de baile post-pandémico.
Okachihuali (En Nahuatl: Futuro) es uno de múltiples posibles futuros en donde la música 3ball se sigue renovando a partir de una simbiosis entre tecnologías del ritmo prehispánicas e inteligencia artificial occidental.
El segundo en una serie de lanzamientos de que investigan la composición automatizada por Inteligencia Artificial, utilizando el ‘state-of-the-art’ en modelos generativos de audio.
Abordando la tecnología de audio generative desde una mirada decolonial, en donde sensibilidades no occidentales de ritmo son el tema central, es simultáneamente álbum, paquete de sampleos y máquina generativa de música.
El proceso consistió en entrenar una red neuronal de estilo “Transformer” con un extenso archivo de música 3ball, al rededor de 40 Gigabytes de musica, compilado del canal de youtube dedicado a la música 3ball en Mexico, word Tribal (www.youtube.com/channel/UCFgJTiNXIUc-qG13KUm2RNw) y utilizado con su permiso explícito.
Todo el material publicado aquí es lanzado con una licencia copy(far)left y está libre para descarga, remix, sampleo.

Okachihuali is simultaneously a technology that externalizes the memory of the 3ball and is capable of synthesizing new tracks for the post-pandemic dance club.
Okachihuali (Nahuatl: Future) is one of many possible futures where 3ball music continues to be renewed based on a symbiosis between pre-Hispanic rhythm technologies and Western artificial intelligence.
The second in a series of releases investigating automated composition by Artificial Intelligence, using ‘state-of-the-art’ in generative audio models.
Approaching generative audio technology from a decolonial point of view, where non-Western rhythm sensibilities are the central theme, is simultaneously album, sample pack and generative music machine.
The process consisted of training a “Transformer” style neural network with an extensive 3ball music file, around 40 Gigabytes of music, compiled from the YouTube channel dedicated to 3ball music in Mexico, word Tribal (https: // www.youtube.com/channel/UCFgJTiNXIUc-qG13KUm2RNw) and used with their explicit permission.
